£43,693 - £46,731 per annum
We are seeking to recruit an experienced qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive to support our Litigation team. You will have in depth knowledge and experience of all aspects of debt recovery work and you will be capable of:
- Advising clients on a wide range of high-level complex cases in relation to debt recovery.
- Ability to handle high caseload with little supervision and able to deal with all aspects of debt recovery including unpaid council tax, business rates and adult social care charges and other aspects of recouping monetary costs within the litigation team.
You will need to be skilled at providing concise and clear guidance, be well-organised and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. We would particularly be interested in anyone who has worked in the public sector and has had some exposure to Liability Orders, experience of Charging Orders, civil debt claims and civil claims generally, adult social care charges, litigation costs recovery.

Our employees are currently undertaking a hybrid of home working and office-based working. The successful candidate will be primarily working remotely with minimum of one day in the office a week (ideally Wednesday) or more if required. The office is based in the centre of Halifax. Our excellent technology and equipment will enable you to connect and collaborate from anywhere.
