A pivotal role working directly to the Chief Executive and supporting members from both parties.

The Role
- Monitoring Officer for SCDC - lead on governance, ethics, and constitutional matters
- Expert advisor - RIPA, Data Protection, FOI, and regulatory affairs
- Legal Shared service - work alongside our talented shared legal team
- Strategic leadership - operate at a strategic level to advise colleagues and members on complex legal matters

- Qualified Solicitor/Barrister with local government experience
- Specialist expertise in regulatory, governance, and constitutional law
- Leadership skills - proven ability to manage complex legal work
