Locum Commercial Property Lawyer – South East Local Authority
We are working with a Local Authority in the South East who are seeking an experienced Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to join their legal team on a 6-month rolling contract.
Key Details:
Contract Length: 6 months (rolling)
Location: South East (remote working available)
Rate: Above market rates
Interviews: Taking place over the next 2 weeks
Start: ASAP
Role Responsibilities:
Advising on a full range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, landlord & tenant work, and development projects.
Drafting and negotiating commercial property contracts and leases.
Providing pragmatic legal advice to officers and members.
Managing a varied caseload independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with significant experience in commercial property law.
Previous local authority or public sector experience is highly desirable.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
