Assistant Principal Lawyer – Housing and Civil Litigation Team
Harrow, London (Local Authority role)
Initial 3-6 month contract
Rate: Negotiable, indicate rate sought
36 hours per week
- To support the development of HB Public Law jointly with the other Principal Lawyers and Assistant Principal Lawyers. Specifically this will include:
- To advise on matters arising in all areas of Housing and Civil Litigation matters, covering multiple clients, including local authorities casework which includes complex corporate projects.
- To advise on high profile matters, including advising elected members at council meetings in a proactive and politically sensitive manner.
- To act as a senior liaison point for clients and to line manage, provide professional support, supervision and development for more junior colleagues in the Housing and Civil Litigation team.
- To support the Principal Lawyer in the running, development and performance of the team, including deputising in the Principal Lawyer’s absence.
