Senior Property Lawyer

Enfield (Local Authority role)

Initial 3-6 month contract

Rate: Umbrella, negotiable (Indicate rate sought)

35 hours per week

This post is classified as a flexible worker and ideally requires 2 days office attendance a week.

Enfield Legal Services are recruiting a Senior Property Lawyer to support with an increase of high level work. This is a fantastic opportunity for talented and ambitious professionals to join a friendly, committed and highly regarded in-house legal team to help deliver quality legal advice, as well as making a real contribution to the quality of life and sustainability of the borough. Specialising in the areas of commercial property, regeneration and development work, we are looking for individuals who are real team players who are self-motivated and flexible. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in the relevant area and will be used to carrying a heavy caseload, working with minimum supervision. You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to deal with people at all levels. You will have excellent drafting and negotiating skills and will have a strong understanding of the relevant area(s) of law. Local authority experience is desirable but not essential, provided you have good experience in the right areas of work.
