Job Description:
Venn Group's specialist Executive/Interim Division are delighted to be partnering with a Local Authority in the North West to support them with the recruitment of an Interim Head of Legal Services and Deputy Monitoring Officer.
This assignment is offered for an initial 3-6 month contract pending permanent recruitment into the role. The position can be worked on either a 4 or 5 day per week basis and the successful candidate will be expected to attend the office 2-3 times per week.
Leading a large multidisciplinary legal team, the ideal candidate will be a strong people manager who has significant experience of leading large teams within a Local Authority and has operated at either Deputy Monitoring Officer or Monitoring Officer level for a number of years. There will also be the opportunity to support the Monitoring Officer on high level Governance matters.
A rate of between £600 - £750 per day via an umbrella company can be considered depending upon your level of experience.
