As a Commercial Property Lawyer, you will:
- Manage a complex caseload involving all aspects of commercial property work.
- Provide technical legal advice to internal clients and stakeholders.
- Draft and negotiate complex legal documents for a wide range of property transactions.
- Advise on law and practice relating to the structure of transactions and commercial property law.
- Apply legal knowledge to support the council’s strategic objectives while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, or equivalent with a current practising certificate with developed experience in commercial property law.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
- Knowledge of local government and public law is desirable.
