Role: Commercial and Residential Property Solicitor - Interim

Rate of pay: £50- £55 per hour

Duration: 3 months +

Sellick Partnership's legal team is currently working alongside a well-known local authority, based in the West Midlands, which is seeking a Property Solicitor to join their team.


This is a part time (3 days a week) remote working position for an initial duration of 3 months with potential to extend. The successful candidate will be a qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx), preferably with prior public sector experience, spanning both commercial and residential property transactions.


The role will involve handling a varied caseload of routine and more complex commercial property transactions with minimal supervision. Duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Residential Acquisitions
  • Lease Renewals
  • Title Queries
  • Land Registry
  • Carrying out and completing commercial property portfolio and residential property transactions
  • Advising on statutory residential property matters, including Council charges
  • Advising on local government law in the areas of property development work
