Local Authority in the
East Midlands, who are seeking a
Part-Time Locum Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their legal team on a remote basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide legal support to procurement and client departments on contracts for goods, services, and major projects
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial contract matters, including public health contracts and grant agreements
- Draft and advise on framework agreements, call-off contracts, concessions, and bespoke commercial contracts
- Offer guidance on subsidy control, general contract law, and procurement-related policies and procedures
- Assist with the training and supervision of junior legal staff as required
Details:
- Part-time: 18.5 hours per week
- Location: Fully remote
- Rate: £50–£60 per hour, DOE
- Duration: Initial 3 month contract with likely extensions
