You’ll lead a range of services, including: Elections Team, Democratic Team, Public Protection & Environmental Health Teams, Data Protection Officer and Governance Team. You’ll offer expert advice to our elected members as they set policy and make the vital decisions that shape how we invest our resources in the best interests of our community. You’ll ensure that sound governance principles underpin our processes, establishing protocols and systems that protect the organisation and support better decision-making. The ability to establish positive, professional relationships across the political spectrum will be vital – enabling you to advise and influence and ensure that dialogue and debate are managed effectively.
