The Post
We are looking for an enthusiastic hardworking lawyer to play a leadership role in our Litigation team.

The focus of the role is on civil litigation much of which is housing related but there is scope to develop your skills in other areas of law covered by the team including   commercial and property litigation , public law , education , employment  and other local government matters.

The team
You will be working in a Team of experienced lawyers , legal officers  and paralegals  supported by our business support  team

Development
We put a strong emphasis on training and personal development and want to support you to be the best you can be. This job is a good springboard to move into senior legal management.

What you will bring
You will be a qualified Solicitor (or Barrister) holding a current practising certificate, or you will be a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives. You will be creative , energetic and well organised ,have  conduct of a personal caseload  ,  and be able to  lead , manage and mentor less senior members of the team.

Experience: 
You will have substantial experience of civil litigation practice, and experience in at least two other areas from:
  • Housing Law and litigation 
  • Commercial litigation 
  • Property litigation; or 
  • Local Government Law.    
Experience of supervising staff and/or managing staff or the aptitude and ability to do so.
