All about the Role As the Legal & Governance Practice Manager, you’ll provide high-level executive and operational support to the Director of Legal and Governance and senior leaders across the directorate. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of legal services, managing systems, budgets, and performance data, and supporting strategic initiatives that benefit both the Council and the wider community.
All about You We’re seeking someone with a strong understanding of legal compliance frameworks and office management. You’ll need excellent communication and relationship-building skills, along with proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role—ideally within legal services. Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint, is essential. You should also be confident working independently, managing competing priorities, and delivering under pressure.
