- Leading specialist advisory areas (Litigation, Employment & Property)
- Managing and supervising a team of lawyers
- Overseeing governance, decision‑making and high‑risk matters
- Representing the Council at hearings, inquiries and leadership boards
- Contributing to service planning, training and improvement programmes
