Locum Property Paralegal – Up to £30 per hour Umbrella – 3+ Months – Hybrid / Remote Working

 

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a well-regarded Local Authority who are seeking a Locum Property Paralegal to join their Property team on an interim basis.

This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented Paralegal with strong research and property knowledge to support an important project involving historic property records and charitable land registrations.

 

Role Overview:

  • Position: Locum Property Paralegal

  • Rate: Up to £30 per hour Umbrella

  • Duration: Initial 3 months, with potential for extension

  • Location: Hybrid / Remote – regular office attendance required due to the nature of the work

  • Hours: Full time preferred (part time considered)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research archived deed packets to identify whether any charitable gifts or trusts have been made

  • Prepare and submit relevant documentation to the Charity Commission and HM Land Registry to register identified gifts

  • Liaise with internal teams and external bodies to ensure compliance and accuracy in reporting

  • Maintain detailed and organised records throughout the project

  • Support the wider Property team with ad-hoc administrative and legal tasks

 

About You:

  • Previous experience working as a Property Paralegal, ideally within the public sector

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review and interpret historical deeds and title documents

  • Familiarity with Charity Commission and Land Registry processes desirable

  • Excellent organisational and research skills
