Locum Planning & Highways Solicitor
Location: London Borough Council (Hybrid Working)
Rate: £55–£60 per hour (umbrella)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Initial 3–6 months (likely extension)
The Role:
A London Borough Council is seeking an experienced Locum Planning & Highways Solicitor to join their legal services team on an interim basis. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility, with a mix of remote working and office attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
Advising on a broad range of planning and highways law matters
Managing complex planning agreements (including Section 106)
Providing legal advice on highways, traffic orders, road closures, and development-related highways issues
Key Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive
Strong experience in local authority planning and highways law
