This role could be well-suited to someone who is already in another permanent or locum role but has availability for some work on the side. Equally, this arrangement could suit someone who is retired or semi-retired, or someone looking for some part-time work around other commitments.

There is scope for 1 - 2 days a month with this role to attend committees. The successful locum Senior Planning Lawyer will be a qualified Lawyer with experience in preparing for and attending planning committees. Evening time committee attendance will be required at the council.
