Locum Right to Buy Lawyer/Team Leader – Midlands – Up to £45 per hour umbrella – Remote Working – Initial 3+ months
 
Venn Group’s specialist legal team is currently working with a well-regarded Local Authority in the Midlands to recruit an experienced Right to Buy Lawyer/Team Leader on a locum basis. This is a great opportunity for a conveyancer or Newly Qualified Solicitor to lead a team of Right to Buy Officers.
 
The Role:
Position: Locum Right to Buy Lawyer/Team Leader
Duration: 3-month initial contract, with potential for up to 2 years
Location: Remote working after the first day, occasional office presence may be required
Hours: Full Time or 3 days per week
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process Right to Buy applications from start to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
• Manage a small team of 6 Right to Buy Officers, supporting on any queries
• Advise on leasehold enquiries, extensions, service charges, and any other related matters

 
About You:

• An experienced Senior Right to Buy Officer or Newly Qualified Lawyer
• Ability to manage a small team and support with any enquiries as needed
• Can be from Public Sector or Private Practice background
