Contract Solicitor /Lawyer
Rate of Pay: Negotiable, indicate rate sought
Hours: 30 hours per week
Location: Hybrid (1 day a week if possible) but remote working may be possible. Office location is Sandwell
Start Date: ASAP

Brief description:
 

• You will be required to provide quality practical advice and support on public procurement and commercial contracts, including contract negotiation, drafting and contract disputes. Some JCT experience would be helpful
• You will also provide support to our Principal Lawyers in on specialist and complex contracts and procurement work as well as high-level projects.
• You must be a qualified lawyer with experience of undertaking work within a Local Authority or the public sector on all legal matters in relation to contracts and procurement.
• Qualified lawyer – Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (FCILEx) with at least three years’ post qualification experience.
• This role is ideal for an candidates who can demonstrate the ability to deal with a high caseload, meet deadlines, possess excellent client care skills, and an eagerness to provide a high-quality service to our clients.
