Locum Residential Property Lawyer

9 months

£300 umbrella daily rate

We are currently recruiting for a Residential Property Lawyer to join a well-regarded local authority in the southwest region.

As part of the Council's tackling homelessness programme the Council is seeking to acquire residential properties on the open market. The successful candidate will be able to oversee and manage the residential acquisition programme on behalf of the Council with little supervision. Acquisitions will be freehold and leasehold and the postholder will be expected to deal with the full conveyancing process from initial contract to registration at the Land Registry.

Experience of working in the public sector would be advantageous.

This position can offer mainly remote although some adhoc attendance in the office for meetings would be required.
