Local Authority to recruit a
Locum Legal Business Support Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and ambitious Legal Assistant, Support Officer or Paralegal to join a dynamic and supportive team.
The Role:Position: Locum Legal Business Support Officer – Commercial Contracts Team
Rate: Up to £20 per hour Umbrella
Duration: Initial 3+ months with the possibility for extension
Location: Predominantly remote, hybrid working, with 2 office days per week
Hours: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:- Support fee earners with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Assist with signing and sealing duties
- Attend meetings and take minutes as required
- Update case management systems and maintain accurate records
About You:
- Experienced Legal Business Support Officer, Paralegal, or Legal Assistant
- The ideal candidate will be an experienced administrative assistant and have experience working in a legal team or local authority or equivalent environment.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Experience of word and excel, photocopying and filing essential.
- Experience of working with a case management system desirable preferably from a local authority prospective.
