Housing/ASBs Lawyer (Advocacy)

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a local authority authority in Yorkshire who are looking to hire a locum housing/ASBs lawyer for a 3 month rolling contract to cover a gap in their team.

The role would require candidates to conduct their own advocacy as and when required (minimum once per week) and so local candidates are encouraged to apply.

The Role:

– Covers a broad caseload of housing matters autonomously (predominantly ASBs, Injunctions and Possessions),

– Requires a start date ASAP,

– Conducting advocacy in court (candidates must have prior experience with non-contested hearings),

– Candidates without a public sector background will be considered for this post.
