We are looking for Paralegals to join our growing Firm. You will carry out client work and associated support to partners and lawyers, under their supervision, as allocated by supervisors.

We operate a hybrid working model, whereby employees can combine working from the office with working from home. The current expectation for Paralegals is a minimum of four days a week in the office, subject to the needs of the firm, clients and colleagues.
Our office is within easy access of Kings Cross and Farringdon mainline stations and Chancery Lane tube.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of documents, bundle preparation and assisting with delivery of documentation
- Proof reading documents
- Handling and progressing under supervision a case load of housing litigation cases, primarily defending claims brought under the pre-action protocol for housing conditions but also including possession claims
- Undertaking disclosure and document review tasks
- Assisting with and undertaking preliminary assessments of damages in disrepair claims
- Opening new client matters and updating case trackers
- Drafting instructions to counsel
- Attending Court hearings with Counsel
- Available to be present in our London Office at least 4 days a week, subject to prior agreement of any reasonable requests in advance to work remotely from time-to-time
- Legal research
- Ensuring that all work is progressed expeditiously
- Exercising high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner at all times
- Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all of the firm’s and client documentation and information
- Compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Rules on the Professional Conduct of Solicitors
- Maintaining clear and precise communications with other employees of the firm
- Ensuring good working relationships with external institutions and organisations
- Such other duties as may be assigned within the reasonable capabilities of an employee of equivalent experience, after consultation

Essential Requirements
- Strong academic attainment
- Interest in housing law
- Interest in public law
- Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and presentation skills (both face to face and over the telephone)
- Good time management skills and capable of handling a varied workload efficiently
- Able to work under pressure and to tight timescales
