Employment Lawyer | Local Authority | South of England
Vivid Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Employment Lawyer to support a Local Authority in the South of England on an initial contract basis.
The successful candidate will join the team to support a predominantly respondent-side caseload, with a strong focus on Employment Tribunal and discrimination matters. The role will also involve providing day-to-day employment advice to HR, contributing to policy development and advising on wider strategic employment issues.
Key experience required:
- Strong background in Employment Law
- Experience managing Employment Tribunal proceedings through to final hearing
- Experience handling discrimination claims
- Respondent-side employment experience
- Experience instructing Counsel for final hearings
- Local Authority experience would be advantageous
- Private sector candidates with relevant trade union experience will also be considered
Contract: 6 month rolling contract
Rate: £62.25 per hour
Start: ASAP
Working arrangements: Fully remote
Hours: Full-time preferred, but flexibility can be offered on both working pattern and hours
Part-time: Candidates available for 30+ hours per week can be considered
