EMPLOYMENT LAWYER | GREATER MANCHESTER

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a Local Authority in Greater Manchester who are looking to bring in an experienced Employment Lawyer on a contract basis.

The role will be predominantly respondent-side Employment Tribunal work, with a particular focus on discrimination matters.

The role:

• Employment Tribunal claims through to final hearing

• Acting for the respondent

• Discrimination claims

• Advising HR

• Employment policy work

• Strategic employment advice

• Instructing Counsel where required

The ideal candidate:

• 3+ years' Employment Law experience

• Strong Employment Tribunal experience

• Experience taking matters through to final hearing

• Strong discrimination experience

• Local Authority experience preferred

• Private sector candidates with trade union experience also considered

Contract: Until December, with a strong likelihood of extension
Start: ASAP
Working: Fully remote considered, hybrid also available
Part-time: 30+ hours considered
