Job Description:

Venn Group are excited to be working with a Yorkshire-based Combined Authority in their search for a Locum Contracts Lawyer. The role will involve providing legal support across a variety of contracts, procurement and construction matters.
 
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3-months initially, very likely to extend
Hours: Full-time preferably (37 hours per week)
Travel: Remote
Rate: £60-65 per hour, umbrella
 
Job Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx Lawyer with a current Practising Certificate
  • Previous local government or public sector contracts experience
  • Experience with NEC, JCT and other construction contracts
