Venn Group are excited to be working with a public sector organisation based in Greater Manchester in search for a Locum Senior Lawyer.
 
Th successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor, barrister or CILEx Lawyer with extensive experience in Contracts and Procurement matters. The role will also touch on some governance matters as the placeholder will deputise the Monitoring Officer. Previous DMO experience is not required, but candidates should have a sound
understanding of what these duties would involve.
 
Start: ASAP
Duration: Initially until 31/03/2027 with scope to extend beyond this
Working Arrangement: Full-time, remote with weekly/fortnightly office attendance in Greater Manchester
Rate: £450-550 per day, umbrella
 
This position will not involve any line-management or oversight of a team. Our client is seeking a “can do” lawyer, who can take on and manage various matters rather than hold a specific caseload.
