Locum Employment Lawyer – Full Time – 6 Months+ – Remote Working – Up to £55 per hour Umbrella Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation seeking an experienced Locum Employment Lawyer to join their legal department on an interim basis.
This assignment is expected to run for an initial period of 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension thereafter. The role offers remote working, with attendance required when necessary for Employment Tribunals within the region. Full-time availability is preferred, although part-time candidates with the relevant experience will also be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with substantial experience handling a broad range of employment law matters. The successful candidate will advise on and manage complex employment cases, including disciplinary and grievance matters, sickness absence, restructuring issues, unfair dismissal claims and Employment Tribunal litigation.
Candidates with previous experience working within the public sector, particularly advising Police Forces or Local Authorities, will be of particular interest. Experience dealing with sensitive and complex discrimination matters, including race and sex discrimination claims, is highly desirable.
An hourly rate of up to £55 per hour Umbrella is available, dependent on experience.
