Employment Claims Specialist needed!

£55 - £65 an hour

This is a role for an experienced employment claims specialist to join a large in-house legal services team on a remote basis. This role is for someone to dedicate 100% of their time to employment law claims and cases. You will join an existing team of 3 other lawyers who dedicate themselves to litigation. The role is to manage mixed caseloads of employment related litigation, which may include:

  • Unfair and wrongful dismissal (actual and constructive).
  • TUPE / redundancy.
  • Discrimination (age, disability, race, religion / belief and maternity / pregnancy / sex).
  • Employment Tribunal preparatory work.
  • Negotiating settlement agreements.
  • Advising on the enforceability of restrictive covenants / connected confidentiality issues.
  • Grievance and disciplinary investigations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an employment claims specialist. Experience can be gained from either the public or private sector. What is key is an in depth knowledge (and experience) of handling employment claims.
