Job Description:

Locum Housing and Litigation Locum Lawyer

Sellick Partnership is currently working with a public sector-focused legal organisation looking to recruit an experienced Civil Litigation Lawyer on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension.

The organisation provides legal services primarily to local authorities and the wider public sector.

The role will focus predominantly on civil litigation, with a varied caseload that may include:

  • Housing and housing-related disputes
  • Disrepair claims
  • Personal injury
  • Debt recovery
  • Other general civil litigation matters

You would be joining a well-established team with good paralegal support.

The majority of matters are briefed out to counsel, although there may be an occasional requirement to attend court. However, fully remote working will be considered.

We are looking for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Cilex-qualified Lawyer with a proven track record of managing a broad caseload of civil litigation matters, including housing.

If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience, please apply now or contact Natalie Ferguson in our Manchester office for more information.

Sellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances. Please note, our advertisements use years' experience, hourly rates, and salary levels purely as a guide and we assess applications based on the experience and skills evidenced on the CV.
