Interim Adult Social Care Principal Lawyer
£75 per hour | 6 months+ | 100% Remote
Sellick Partnership are currently working with a friendly local authority who are looking to appoint an experienced Adult Social Care Principal Lawyer on an interim basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident Adult Social Care lawyer to join and manage a small, friendly and supportive team, providing expert legal advice across a varied adult social care caseload.
The Role
As Principal Lawyer, you will take a lead role within the team, providing high-quality legal advice and guidance on a range of adult social care matters. You will also support and manage a small team of lawyers, helping to ensure the service continues to provide a responsive and effective legal service to the authority.
The role would suit someone confident working autonomously, with strong technical knowledge and who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues.
About You
We are looking for a qualified solicitor or barrister with strong Adult Social Care experience, ideally with previous experience at Principal Lawyer or senior level.
You should have:
- Strong knowledge of Adult Social Care law and practice
- Local authority experience
- The ability to provide clear, pragmatic legal advice
- Experience managing, supervising or mentoring other lawyers
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
