Locum Childcare Lawyer

£55 - 60ph

Hybrid Working

Full-time

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a capable Childcare lawyer to join a well-respected local authority based in the East of England on a locum basis for 3 - 6 months, with a likelihood for extension.

As Childcare Lawyer you will be confident in carrying your own caseload of care proceedings, as well as pre-proceeding matters. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Handing a full caseload of childcare matters, providing advice on all aspects of public law children's matters
  • Drafting documents, including statements and threshold agreements
  • Non-accidental injury
  • Exclusion orders
  • Emergency protection orders

Court attendance is mandatory in Northamptonshire, but those offering flexibility around attendance will be considered.

This role would be full-time, flexible forms of full-time work may be considered.

Our client is open to considering applications from candidates from both public and private sector backgrounds if relevant public childcare experience is demonstrated.
