Locum Legal Practice Manager – Full Time – Hybrid Working – Up to £65 per hour umbrella – South East of England
 
Venn Group’s specialist Public Sector Legal team is currently recruiting for a Locum Legal Practice Manager to join a well-regarded Local Government legal team on an interim basis, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy and friendly Local Authority. 
 
Role Details:
Position: Locum Legal Practice Manager
Working Arrangement: Full Time, hybrid working subject to business need
Duration: Initial 3+ months with the possibility for extension 
Rate: Up to £65 per hour umbrella (DOE)
 
Duties may include:
  • Support the establishment and delivery of the Practice Management function 
  • Oversee the delivery of general day-to-day operations across the legal services
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the technical, IT, and Case Management systems used, to help ensure standards and compliance requirements are met
  • Support the Head of Legal to deliver the Council’s strategic plan 
  • Provide strategic, operational, and HR management, including improving operations, resourcing and staff management 
  • Hold responsibility for budget management, and mitigate risk factors 
  • Provide client and relationship management, upholding the standards of the Council 
 
Candidate Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience within Legal Practice Management 
  • Experience working within Local Government is essential 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
