Venn Group are working with a local authority in Yorkshire in search for a Locum Childcare Lawyer.
 
Duties:

• Providing expert advice and representation in care proceedings and family law matters
• Managing legal queries from the Children and Young People Services Directorate
• Conducting research to address more complex legal issues affecting operational matters
• Collaborating with the legal team to ensure compliance with Law Society Professional Standards and Lexcel accreditation

 
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3-month rolling contract
Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week), part-time considered
Travel: Hybrid – Mondays are office-based, the other 4 days can be worked from home
Rate: £55-65 per hour, umbrella
 
Candidates must be admitted as a Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx in England and Wales and have experience handling a caseload of childcare law matters.
