Locum Principal Housing Litigation Lawyer
Local Authority | South East | Hybrid Working | 3-Month Rolling Contract

A South East local authority is looking to appoint an experienced Principal Housing Litigation Lawyer to join their legal team on an interim basis.

You'll manage a varied caseload of housing litigation matters, advising the Housing & Property team on issues including possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour, homelessness, disrepair, injunctions, tenancy management and judicial review. The role will also involve advocacy in the County Court and working closely with senior stakeholders across the council.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with significant local government or registered provider experience, strong housing litigation knowledge, and previous advocacy experience.
