Locum Childcare Lawyer – 3 months + – Full Time – Remote Working – Up to £60 per hour Umbrella – Midlands

Position: Locum Childcare Lawyer
Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority
Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension thereafter
Working Pattern: Full Time
Working Arrangement: Remote working – however if anyone can attend court when required this is a bonus
Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella

Duties may include:

• The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling Childcare matters in Local Authority.
  Deal with a full and complex case load of childcare matters and emergency applications, including emergency protection orders
• Undertake Public Law Outline cases including initial PLO meetings and reviews
• Provide legal advice on children’s social care and safeguarding including deprivation of liberty of children and young people with disabilities
