Locum Senior Commercial Property Lawyer to join a respected public sector organisation.
The successful candidate will manage a varied commercial property caseload, providing high-quality legal advice across a range of commercial property and development matters. The role will involve drafting, negotiating and advising on a broad spectrum of commercial property transactions and projects, as well as representing the organisation in negotiations with third parties.
Duties may include:- Managing a varied commercial property caseload from instruction through to completion
- Advising on commercial property acquisitions, disposals, leases, licences and other land transactions
- Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial property agreements and legal documentation
- Providing legal support on development projects and regeneration schemes
- Representing the organisation in negotiations with external parties and stakeholders
- Delivering pragmatic, solution-focused legal advice to officers and senior stakeholders
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with significant Commercial Property experience
- Have previous Public Sector or Local Authority experience
- Be capable of managing a complex caseload independently and providing support on high-value or strategic matters
- Possess excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills

- Initial 4-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension
- Full Time or Part Time hours considered
- Fully remote working available
- Up to £60 per hour Umbrella, dependent on experience
