We're currently working with a well-established Local Authority seeking an Employment Lawyer to join their legal team on an initial three-month rolling contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an interim lawyer looking for a predominantly remote assignment within local government. The role is fully remote, with only occasional ad hoc attendance required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied employment law caseload.
  • Providing advice on TUPE.
  • Providing clear and focused legal advice.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive.
  • Demonstrable employment law experience.
  • Previous experience within a Local Authority or the wider public sector is desirable.
  • Available to start at short notice.

Contract Details

  • Initial three-month rolling contract
  • Strong potential for extension
  • Predominantly remote working
  • Ad hoc attendance
  • Full-time hours
  • Start as soon as possible
  • £55-60 per hour
