Venn Group’s specialist legal team is currently recruiting for a Company Solicitor – Commercial to join a Housing Association in the North East on a Fixed Term Contract basis. Offering hybrid working and the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative legal team. 

The Role:
Position: Company Solicitor – Commercial
Working Arrangement: Full Time, Hybrid working (3 days a week on-site)
Salary: £60,000 per annum, pro rata
Duration: 6 months initially

Key responsibilities: 

• To act as the Organisation’s Company Solicitor, with a particular focus on Commercial Law
• Managing a varied commercial contracts caseload, including providing procurement advice, reviewing, and drafting commercial contracts
• Supporting the Senior Solicitor in Commercial and Development law

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor
• Strong knowledge of public procurement and commercial contracts
• Experience working within a Housing Association is desirable, not essential.
