Job Title: Locum Commercial Contracts & Procurement Lawyer

Job Description: Venn Group’s specialist legal team is currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join a Housing Association Located in the North East. The job is to start ASAP on a full time basis, for an initial period of 6 months, whilst the organisation look to recruit permanently.

Working Arrangement: Full time (37 hours), attendance in the office 3 days a week (potential negotiation on the office/home split)
Rate: £60ph umbrella
Duration: Initial 6+ months with the possibility for extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied commercial contracts caseload, including providing procurement advice, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts.
• Providing support to the Senior Solicitor in Commercial and Development law

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor
• Strong knowledge of public procurement and commercial contracts
• Experience working within a Housing Association is desirable, not essential
