Locum Childcare Lawyer – 3 months + – Full/Part Time – Predominantly Remote Working – Up to £70 per hour Umbrella – Midlands

Position: Locum Childcare Lawyer
Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority
Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension thereafter
Working Pattern: Full or Part Time hours can be considered
Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote Working, attending court when required
Hourly Rate: Up to £70 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling Childcare matters within Local Authority

Duties will include:

• Deal with a full and complex case load of childcare matters and emergency applications, including emergency protection orders
• Undertake Public Law Outline cases including initial PLO meetings and reviews
• Provide legal advice on children’s social care and safeguarding including deprivation of liberty of children and young people with disabilities
