Childcare Solicitor

Locum

Remote/Hybrid in the Northwest

£55-65 (umbrella)

Sellick Partnership are proud to be working with this Greater Manchester based local authority to recruit a locum Childcare Lawyer to join their well-established team. This role can be worked remotely but hybrid is preferred for advocacy. Feedback from current locums within the local authority is very positive, notably they provide excellent legal officer support, supportive and receptive management and a general positive atmosphere!

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for managing a caseload of childcare cases and advising on all aspects of law relevant to Child Protection and Safeguarding
  • To communicate both verbally and in writing to a consistently high standard with the ability to translate and present complex legal advice in a way that can be clearly understood by a variety of audiences
  • Where appropriate, to demonstrate exceptional advocacy skills in Family Court
