Locum Commercial Contracts & Procurement Lawyer – Full Time – Fully Remote Working – Up to £65 per hour Umbrella – Initial 3+ months Venn Group’s specialist legal team is currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join a well-regarded Local Authority on an interim basis. Offering fully remote working, this role provides excellent flexibility and the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative legal team.
The Role:Position: Locum Commercial Contracts & Procurement Lawyer
Working Arrangement: Full Time, Remote working
Rate: Up to £65 per hour Umbrella
Duration: Initial 3+ months with the possibility for extension
Key Responsibilities:- Managing a varied commercial contracts caseload, including providing procurement advice, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts and negotiating funding agreements.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive
- Demonstrable experience in commercial contracts and procurement law within a Local Authority setting
- Strong knowledge of public procurement and commercial contracts
