Locum Property Lawyer – Part Time – Up to £55 per hour Umbrella – Midlands – Fully Remote – Initial 3 Months+
 
Venn Group's specialist Legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Property Lawyer to join a well-regarded organisation in the Midlands on an initial 3-month assignment, with the strong possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property lawyer looking for a fully remote, part-time position with a varied caseload.
 
The Role:
Position: Locum Property Lawyer
Duration: Initial 3 months with potential extension
Rate: Up to £55 per hour Umbrella
Working Pattern: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week
Working Arrangement: Fully Remote
 
Duties will include:
  • Managing a varied caseload of general commercial property matters
  • Advising on commercial leases, licences, assignments, disposals, acquisitions and other landlord and tenant matters
  • Handling a smaller volume of residential property work as required
  • Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a range of property documentation
  • Providing pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders and supporting the wider legal team
 
Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with substantial experience in commercial property law
  • Experience managing a broad commercial property caseload, with some exposure to residential property matters
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fully remote environment
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
  • Previous public sector or Local Authority experience is desirable but not essential
