£600-850 a day

About the Role:

Sellick Partnership is looking for an Interim Deputy Monitoring Officer to join a local government team for a minimum period of 6 months. This is an exciting opportunity to join a competent, respectable team.

Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Monitoring Officer

• Heading up the legal department as well as taking on DMO duties
• Reporting directly to the Monitoring Officer
• Attending committee and full council meetings
• They are a small team so if someone has some litigation or planning experience, then it would be beneficial

Desirable Skills and Requirements of the Head of Legal and MO:

• Looking for someone senior and strategic
• Previous experience as an MO or DMO
• Previous experience working in the public sector
