Job Description:

Locum Information Governance Assistant – Hybrid Working (1 Day per Week in Office) – Leicestershire
 
Venn Group's specialist legal team is currently recruiting for an Information Governance Assistant to join a friendly Information Governance team on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity to provide administrative support within a busy team on an initial short-term contract, with the potential for extension.
 
The Role:
Position: Information Governance Assistant
Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office preferred
Start: As soon as possible
Rate: Up to £20 per hour (Umbrella)
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Information Governance team, managing the Information Governance team inbox
  • Maintain corporate registers, systems and databases in line with legislative obligations and corporate standards
  • Provide system administration for relevant systems and support the delivery of service processes and procedures
  • Take accurate minutes at meetings, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature, and monitor and track follow-up actions
  • Ensure that all relevant systems are maintained and developed, kept up to date and comprehensive, and to support the Information Governance & Risk function
 
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Paralegal, Legal Administrator, or in a similar administrative role
  • Confident IT skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Previous experience within information governance or data protection is desirable but not essential
