Locum Commercial & Procurement Lawyer – Full Time or Part-Time – Remote Working – Up to £60 per hour umbrella Venn Group’s specialist legal team is currently recruiting for a Locum Commercial Contracts & Procurement Lawyer to a Local Authority on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support a friendly and busy legal team, with flexible working arrangements.
The Role:Position: Locum Commercial Contracts & Procurement Lawyer
Working Arrangement: Full Time or Part-Time considered, remote working
Rate: Up to £60 per hour umbrella
Start: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice and guidance on a range of procurement matters, including framework agreements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement legislation and regulatory requirements
- Advise on TUPE matters and provide audit support as needed
- Oversee legal issues relating to intellectual property and subsidy control
- Deliver wider commercial legal advice and support across the organisation, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive (or equivalent) with experience of Commercial and procurement Law
- Experience working within Local Government or the Public Sector is desirable
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and teams
