Venn Group are working with a local authority in the North West in search for a Locum Childcare Lawyer to cover a maternity leave.
 
The successful candidate will undertake a personal caseload in respect of all areas of childcare law, (including complex work relating to the provision of legal advice, drafting of complex documentation of the same and advocacy), to include advising clients verbally and in writing on legal issues in relation to childcare law.
 
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 weeks initially, with any extensions agreed thereafter
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours across 5 days per week
Travel: Hybrid, 1 days per week on-site, 1 day per week in court
Rate: £60-65 per hour, umbrella
 
Candidates must be admitted as a Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx in England and Wales and have experience handling a caseload of childcare law matters.
