Locum Property Lawyer – Full Time – Fully Remote – Up to £55 per hour Umbrella – ASAP Start Venn Group’s specialist Public Sector Legal team is currently recruiting for a Locum Property Lawyer to join a well-regarded Local Government legal team on an interim basis, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy and established Local Authority.
Role Details:Position: Locum Property Lawyer
Working Arrangement: Full Time, fully remote working
Duration: Initial 3+ months with the possibility for extension
Rate: Up to £55 per hour umbrella
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duties may include:- Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters
- Advising on disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and general property transactions
- Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, easements and other property agreements
- Advising on title issues, covenants, rights of way and other property-related matters
- Providing practical property law advice to internal stakeholders and client departments across the authority
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (or equivalent) with experience of Property Law
- Experience working within Local Government or the Public Sector is desirable
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and teams
