Position: Locum Criminal/Prosecutions Paralegal
Organisation: Police Constabulary
Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension thereafter
Working Pattern: Full time hours
Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote, with Court attendance when required
Hourly Rate: £20 - £30 per hour Umbrella
The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling DVPO claims and Prosecution matters for the Police

Duties may include:

• Acting as the police advocate or assisting the police legal representative in the courtroom to secure the final DVPO/DAPO from a district judge or magistrates' bench
• Support officers in building, managing, and presenting Civil Domestic Violence Protection Order (DVPO) and Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO) applications in magistrates' courts
