£54,267 - £58,461 per annum + £4k market supplement + £3k welcome

Founded in 2011, the South London Legal Partnership (SLLP) is the in-house legal service for the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and the London Boroughs of Merton, Richmond upon Thames, Sutton and Wandsworth.

SLLP is committed to being a high performing in-house shared legal service which plays an essential part in the achievement of the priorities and objectives of our five local authorities for the benefit of their communities.

The partnership has 150-160 staff and an annual turnover of £14 million. Over 1 million people are represented by the constituent councils we serve. Operating at scale has enabled us to recruit and retain excellent staff and provide a consistently high standard of service to our five Boroughs

This opportunity is suitable for lawyers who currently specialise in commercial property. The role is suitable for a commercial property solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years PQE but will consider NQ+.  We are looking for individuals who are real team players, self-motivated and flexible and able to work to tight timescales. You should be able to demonstrate good experience of managing a complex workload relating to commercial property asset management e.g. sales, purchases, leases, licence etc, good understanding of land title matters and relevant legislation relating to property transactions. Local authority experience is desirable not essential
